You can, with some basic restrictions...


As I understand it...

When the offline functionality is on, it will save recent things and new things on the machine. I assume that storage is somewhat limited but certainly enough to handle most typical documents. If you wanted to edit something you worked on a few months ago, you'd need to pull it up while you have a connection.

It's really a non issue for me because if I need to pull something off of my Google drive and I don't have a connection, I just use internet sharing through my phone.
